- This book talks about the Catholic themes that underline the novel, The Lord of the rings. It helps the reader to understand how to look for these themes in the novel and gives the author’s interpretation of why they were included by Tolkien.

- I am including this book because it discusses how Frodo the Ring bearer can be compared to Jesus the Cross bearer. As such, they must both walk their various paths alone. That is Jesus on his way to Calvary with the cross and Fordo on his journey to Mordor, in order or them to save the worlds in which they live in.

- I am including this reference because the books talks about how Tolkien proclaims the teachings of Christianity in his developed gospel. I am also reading it because my teacher recommended it.
